Collection: floriografi

The language of flowers - floriography - was a method for secret communication during the Victorian era, with different combinations of flowers conveying both friendship, love and sorrow.

In my contemporary interpretation, I create paper flowers where each petal is hand made and tells its very own story. Sometimes I model my work off existing types of flowers, and sometimes I let my imagination take the lead and make use of the flexibility that the material gives me.

The result is a piece of decor that is more sustainable than traditional cut flowers and keeps forever, all while being completely customisable in both shape and colour.
