About Nelly
On my couch in my studio apartment in Stockholm is where I create my beaded flowers. It is a calming outlet for my creativity. As a physiotherapy student my days usually consist of studying, working out and occasionally trying to make my way back to my hometown Gothenburg. Creativity has always been a part of my life in many different forms. It’s my biggest motivator and my harshest critic. When I create french beaded flowers I find myself less critical of my work and more willing to relax and get into a flow state of creativity.
I look for inspiration everywhere but mostly it finds me through people around me and the events in both their and my own life. The flower is a symbol of love, celebration and appreciation, following us through significant life events such as graduation, funerals and weddings. My flowers serve as a reminder to look for and celebrate the beautiful people and moments in our life.
