I'm Emma Joan, a loose-realism oil painter from New York, now residing in Stockholm.

I was introduced to oil paints in my senior year of attending University of Colorado, and it was love at first sight. The buttery, luxurious texture of oil paint completely captivated me.

Before going full-time as an artist, I briefly explored the culinary world by co-owning a restaurant with my father for a few years. Now working as a full-time artist, I continue to explore the simplistic beauty and artful joy found within shared experiences of food and connection.
