About Charlotte
Charlotte Eder grew up in a small community in Swedish Lapland, in a family where art and culture was importan and her father Josef was an artist. Charlotte has been an artist for over twenty years.
Her drive is to constantly learn something new and to mix different mediums in different ways. She has developed a unique technique colorizing photographies by hand which provides a three-dimensional experience and a lot of additional mystery.
Her paintings are rich in colour and detail, darkness and light. She often mentions her constant longing for nature and how she enjoys to get as close to the subject as possible during the creative process.
Over the years Charlotte has had a large number of solo exhibitions in Finland and Sweden and is represented by a couple of international and Swedish galleries. 2024 was fully booked with seven exhibitions and 2025 eas even more busy.
