I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Most of my characters begin as quick sketches made during meetings, phone calls, or quiet moments, and some eventually become paintings.

My work is not about realism but about emotion, memory, and interpretation. I place my characters in imagined, slightly unbalanced environments that invite viewers to create their own stories.

Each painting is built on a textured acrylic paste surface using acrylic paint, ink, and graphite. I embrace visible texture and imperfections because they make the work feel more honest.

For more than 25 years, I have worked as a leader in healthcare, social care, and education. A red cross appears in every recent painting, reflecting the experiences and values that continue to shape both my life and my art.
