Hi, I’m Carin, a photographer and artist from Sweden, and I love color.
If you do too, you’ll find colorful art here based on real photos. I paint on them digitally until every photograph tells its own little story.
Each artwork takes me anywhere from 22 to 157 hours to create, made entirely using my camera and a humble computer mouse as my brush.
But nothing beats hearing people laugh and debate at my art exhibitions; like whether the quokka in a red bathrobe is getting ready for a date or a glorious solo night on the couch. Or when someone seriously questions if that camel’s butt was ~ actually ~ there. Or when someone points and exclaims, “I know the number plate of that car!” Everyone has an opinion. I paint for ridiculously wonderful nonsense like that.
