Getting to play and experiment with ideas—with color and lines. Finding the shapes of faces and expressions, stretching and challenging them. It is wonderful to let my imagination take me wherever it wants during the creative process, without trying to master or limit it. That is when I create at my best—and most authentically!
I have always painted faces; they appeared as subjects early on.
I paint with oilpaints om canvas and sometimes I use other materials as embroidery thread.
