Ceramics has always been at the heart of my life.

Surrounded by factories, kilns, drawings, and painted surfaces, I have shaped my own creative language through clay and colour. As one of the creative forces behind Duro Ceramics, a Portuguese studio and workshop, I work at the intersection of craftsmanship, design, and artistic expression.

Although my professional work is connected to larger-scale production, I remain deeply interested in the emotional and personal qualities that make each object unique. My artistic practice moves freely between painting and ceramics, balancing spontaneity with tradition.

The Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean light, handmade gestures, imperfect textures, and the quiet beauty of slow-making are constant sources of inspiration.

I see ceramics as more than a functional object. It is a vessel for memory, emotion, energy, and identity.
