About Angelina
My name is Angelina Sten, and I live in Södermalm, Stockholm. I’ve always been very creative, and have always created stuff with my hands. Since September 2024, I’ve been creating handmade disco balls in different shapes and patterns—a passion project I work on in my spare time alongside my full-time job.
I love interior design, and I believe it should be fun, don’t you? When people step into my home, I want them to feel a playful, yet cozy, atmosphere. The idea for my melting disco balls came about when I was looking for one that appeared to drip down from our TV stand. I couldn’t find anything that matched my vision, so I decided to make one myself! One thing led to another, and now I experiment with everything from classic disco balls to more imaginative and humoristic designs, which I sell on my website and through Instagram. I love the idea of adding a bit of color and fun to people’s home, and to create something unique and different that people can talk about and that puts a smile on their faces.
In December 2024, I had the opportunity to contribute to Musikhjälpen by creating a disco ice cream cone live in the cage that was raffled off to support their fundraising efforts—something I’m very proud of!
