My name is Angelica Diehn, and I'm a self-taught artist from Sweden with a passion for colored pencils and realism.

My artistic journey began in 2022, when I was looking for a creative outlet during a difficult period in my life. Drawing became my meditation — a way to slow down, focus, and find calm. What started as therapy quickly became a passion. Right now, animals and bird life have captured my interest. I'm fascinated by every feather, every strand of fur, every tiny detail that makes an animal unique. My work tries to capture just that — nature in its most detailed form.

My materials
I work mainly with Faber-Castell Polychromos and Caran d'Ache Luminance on acid-free paper. Colored pencils offer a unique precision and warmth that's hard to achieve with other techniques. Each piece is built up layer by layer, stroke by stroke.
