My name is Amel Hansson, and the work that I create comes directly from my heart. The themes in my work are both universal and deeply personal, and welcomes the viewer to reflect and see themselves within my pieces. There's often subtile messages, that takes time and analysis to understand, and to me, that is the beauty in art; the analytic process shared by both the viewer and the artist.

I enjoy creating surrealistic pieces that combine logic and abstract, it makes more space for interpreting the art differently. Personally, I love when someone views my art and sees something entirely different from my original thought.

I enjoy expressing deep feelings. The ones that are difficult to explain, the ones that hurt to experience, as well as moments of pure euphoria.

Creating art is the only thing in this world that truly keeps me grounded.
