Collection: Amanda Åkermo

After graduating from Konstfack, Amanda fled city life to return to the small town of Arvika, close to the border of Norway. In her studio, she applies her craftsmanship in various techniques to explore humour and animism through jewellery and sculpture.

Using the technique of lost-wax casting, she sculpts directly into the wax and then transforms it into metal. It is an extremely time-consuming technique, but the result can be magical. She also works with enamels, patterns, and patina on silver, copper, bronze, and brass to create fun and unique wearables and wall art.
