About Aleksandar
Drawing is at the heart of my practice.
My work emerges autonomously, evolving from sketch to finished piece.
Each piece begins with a sensitivity to whatever might spontaneously surface in my emotional landscape. My creative process is a search for balance between playfulness and the strange or uncanny. I allow intuitive movements to gradually take shape, constructing an abstract yet familiar puzzle. The result is often lighthearted and humorous, with elements of the unexpected, the mysterious, and the distorted. Eyes are a recurring motif—constantly watching me and the emotional world from which my work arises.
