Albamatilde is a textile artist based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Textile art, sewing, weaving, as well as music and drawing, are some of the creative practices she has explored over the years. In the end, it was textiles and tufting that she connected with most deeply, which today form her primary artistic medium.

For Albamatilde, it is important to work as sustainably as possible. To achieve this, she uses only donated yarn or yarn from deadstock. Each new collection is shaped by the materials and colors available, which means that not only are her motifs in constant evolution, but her color palette also changes depending on the materials she is able to source.
