Collection: Agne Aralova-Kruminiene

I am a painter working with expressive painting as my main language. Through my works, I reflect on contemporary life, its shifting values, and the inner emotional states of people living in today’s world. My paintings often explore tension between external social roles and internal experiences, revealing vulnerability, contradiction, and uncertainty. Irony plays an important role in my practice, allowing me to question seriousness, norms, and expectations with subtle distance and humor. I am interested in how everyday situations can carry deeper psychological and symbolic meanings. Through bold gestures, color, and expressive forms, I create visual narratives that invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and recognize themselves within the imagery.
