Florentina shells are hand-painted oyster shells, perfect for use as salt cellars, jewelry boxes, or decorative pieces. These shells are meticulously hand-painted with water-based acrylic paint and then coated with ocean varnish (a water-based lacquer) on both the inside and outside. As a result, the shells are not dishwasher safe. To clean, gently wipe with a damp cloth or a feather duster. Store the shells indoors.
