After the looseness of summer, routines start to feel good again. Mornings get colder, the air gets sharper, and suddenly the things we needed a break from a couple of months ago become appealing: cooking (and eating) at home, taking long walks, wearing actual (good) outfits again and spending an unreasonable amount of time making our homes feel and look nice.

There’s something about autumn that makes everything fall back into place.

At Cay, this is one of our favorite times of the year. Not because we’re ready to disappear indoors completely, quite the opposite. We want crisp walks, sleepovers, hosting a fun little drink, meeting friends and dates at galleries instead of only doing brunch, and dinners that turn into nights out.

The good thing about autumn is that you don’t have to choose between days and nights in or out, because it’s the season for both. Cold enough for those who want to stay inside, yet still warm enough to keep slushy ice away and make walks outside enjoyable. Fall is for getting dressed up just to go out for dinner, and for cancelling everything and staying on the sofa. For fresh air and open windows and candles in every available corner. For making plans, getting back into routines and then occasionally ignoring all of them.

It’s also the time of year when the things around us start to matter a little more.

When we spend more time at home, we notice the objects we live with. The cup we reach for every morning. The light from the fun lamp that changes the entire feeling of a room once it gets dark. The artwork we’ve walked past a hundred times and suddenly see differently. The jacket that makes getting dressed on a grey morning considerably more fun.

We’ve always liked things that make the everyday feel less generic, and this season, we’ve gathered even more of them.

Cay Collective's F/W 2026 Collection has officially dropped, bringing together a selection of handmade art, fashion and design from independent creators. These are some of our absolute favorites right now: the Hooded Scarf by Maya Ryden, Mushroom cup set by Sol Anna, Bära by Pialin and Schroom Dot Lamp by Material Lights. Honestly though, we want the entire collection both in our homes as well as at our office.

So here’s to the season ahead: to routines we actually like, cold air, good coats, candlelit dinners, spontaneous nights out, very intentional nights in and surrounding ourselves with art, design and fashion made by real people.

We wish you an incredible autumn and happy F/W 2026 Collection shopping.
