Inspired by ancient Japanese ink practices (sumi-e) and modern textured art often seen in the Tokyo art scene, this piece reflects a unique combination of past and present; strong lines and soft waves; ink and water; love and war.

A meeting of two: streams, materials, colours, times, moods.

Featuring stark black ink, and a unique earthy ombré shaded burnt umber and green acrylic ink, along with an organically shaped texture paste.
