Tundra Treasures is a painting inspired by the Swedish mountain landscape.⛰️✨

In the painting you will find mountain gentian, mountain sedge, Lappish alpine rose and heather as well as bumblebees. The painting is in gentle colors with mountain ranges covering the background instead of a sky.

The acrylic paints in this painting are mixed with a medium to make the paint thick and thus build structure on the canvas. Flowers and bumblebees therefore bulge out a little from the painting, I do this to emphasize a clearer 3D effect to the blurry background, a method that is inspired by Sarah McDonald Artwork.

All my paintings are surface-treated with varnish. I do this to protect your artwork against UV radiation, dust and dirt.
