Recently exhibited at Madart Gallery, Museumplein, Amsterdam as part of Trach Bardo’s solo show, Gender 2 belongs to the artist’s vibrant Cactus Series. While most of Bardo’s works avoid human figures and focus purely on surreal landscapes, this piece introduces a subtle human presence inspired by a close friend of the artist who recently became pregnant, adding a personal and intimate layer to the composition.
