Daily commutes are often dull and repetitive, moments of the day that tend to fade from memory. This painting grew out of one such journey, when exhaustion slowed everything down and time seemed to stretch. An 8-minute ride felt like 20, yet instead of frustration, the moment became calm and unhurried.

As the tram moved through the evening, I found myself noticing the quiet details; passengers slouched in their seats, leaning against windows, each absorbed in their own thoughts. I wondered where they had come from, where they were going, and whether they were dreading the journey home or quietly looking forward to it.

Evening Tram Commute captures a pause in routine, when an ordinary moment becomes reflective and unexpectedly gentle.
