The process of making handmade ceramics is lengthy and involves many steps. First, the right amount of clay is weighed, and then the dog bowl is thrown on the wheel and left to dry for about a day. When the clay reaches a leather-hard stage, the dog's name is stamped on it, and the clay is smoothed with a damp sponge. After an additional week of drying, the bowl is bisque-fired, then glazed, and fired again. Finally, the bottom is sanded, the bowl is packed, and sent to its new owner! The entire process takes about a month, which is why the delivery time is 1-2 months.
