Material: Glazed stoneware
Closed oyster #M1 is a wall sculpture in a brown-blue glaze that resembles the ocean it comes from.
The Oyster series is inspired by the shapes of some of the most beautiful creatures in the sea, with their hard, raw exterior with a thousand layers creating unique shells.
Each sculpture is formed and glazed by hand and is therefore unique. This oyster is hand crafted in my Copenhagen studio and fired at a temperature of 1250 degrees.
The oyster can be hung or placed both indoors and outdoors.
This piece is signed Liva Ler 2025 and numbered.
