BLOOMING LAGOON | Original Artwork

Blooming Lagoon is a contrast between colourful flowers in the forground with lakes, forests and mountains in the blurry background.🌅

In the corners are tree leaves and in focus are flowers such as lupines, red bladderwort, beach asters, torch flowers and cress. Also hiding in the vegetation are three ladybugs in the company of three flying bumblebees.

The acrylic paints in this painting are mixed with a medium to make the paint thick and thus build structure on the canvas. The flowers and bumblebees therefore bulge out a little from the painting, I do this to emphasize a clearer 3D effect to the blurry background, a method inspired by Sarah McDonald Artwork.

All my paintings are surface-treated with varnish. I do this to protect your artwork against UV radiation, dust and dirt.
