Autumn has arrived at the cottage! This painting has a wide spectrum of colors in muted, warm colors. 🍂

In this painting I have chosen to combine the autumn aster flower with berries such as blueberries, raspberries and cloudberries - which gives a cozy and autumnal feeling. The last bumblebees of summer are still working and in the background the leaves of the deciduous trees have begun to turn yellow and change into all the colors of autumn.

The acrylic colors in this painting are mixed with a medium to make the color thick and thus build structure on the canvas. Flowers, berries, and bumblebees are applied with a palette knife and therefore bulge out a little from the painting, I do this to emphasize a clearer 3D effect to the blurry background, a method that is inspired by Sarah McDonald Artwork.

All my paintings are surface-treated with varnish. I do this to protect your artwork against UV radiation, dust and dirt

muts.
