Salla Vartiainen is a Swedish-Finnish artist based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Her work often evolves around the hidden - like underwater worlds that are hard to reach where organisms have evolved special survival strategies, mathematic calculations that show uninteresting relationships or programming languages drawing shapes. Experiments, politics and patterns are also important.

Her artistic education consists of studies of art, animation and post-production of movies.
