HENUKI is a Stockholm-based ceramic studio that creates ceramics using a Japanese technique known as kurinuki. The ceramics are characterized by organic expressions, gentle shifts, and surfaces that retain a raw elemental expression. Each piece is created to invite a more intentional presence, encouraging you to come closer and experience the material’s inherent character.

Henrik has a bachelor’s degree in industrial design, and it was during his studies that the idea of starting a ceramic studio was formed. HENUKI is grounded in the belief that objects can create a lasting and deepened relationship between human, form, and material. Inspiration for each work is found in natural rock formations, where the stoneware clay from which the ceramics are made of, is allowed to return to its elemental and natural state.
