My work often explores themes of identity, nature, and cultural symbolism. Through the use of bright and warm colors, I seek to capture the emotions I associate with home and community. Texture plays a central role in my practice, adding depth and dimension to each piece. I primarily work with oil paint, as it allows me to best convey the themes that inspire me.

Though I have always considered myself creative, I didn’t start painting until five years ago. Art has been vital to my personal growth and, over the years, has become a beautiful outlet for my emotions. My love for bright and warm colors stems from my childhood in Eritrea, while my appreciation for nature is rooted in my teenage years spent in Umeå. Now based in Gothenburg, I draw inspiration from the growing urban culture in this beautiful city.

In a way, each painting is a visual map of the places and experiences that have shaped me— and I invite you to experience them with me. Welcome to my world.
