About Elin
Elin designs and crochets unique bags and accessories by hand, using recycled fabric scraps from the textile industry. She draws much of her inspiration from romantic Paris—its striking architecture, delicate pastries, and legendary fashion designers. Her designs stand out with their stylish simplicity, infused with playful elements. Among her collections, you’ll find bags for every occasion—whether it’s a night out, a day at work, or a shopping trip.
From an early age, Elin has loved being creative and working with her hands. As a child, she would spend hours with her grandmother, Elly, crocheting, sewing, and knitting together. Over the years, her passion for crocheting continued to grow, alongside her deep interest in fashion and art.
"I have a deep passion for craftsmanship, fashion, and creativity, and through Mère Elly Atelier, I get to combine the best of many worlds! I’m a true multitasker who thrives on having multiple projects running at once. I’m also particularly passionate about business development, marketing, events, and project management, which are part of my everyday work. Crocheting has always been a constant in my life—a creative outlet, a source of comfort, and a way to express my emotions and passion for design. In times when anxiety and negative thoughts have dominated my days, crocheting has been my saving grace time and time again. Creating has given me space to breathe, a break from dark thoughts, and a form of meditation—a moment just for myself. These bags are not just accessories; they are also a warm hug from me!"
