About Klara

Klara Collin’s passion for color and texture has led her to create her own personal visual language. Growing up in Gothenburg, with summers spent in Skåne, she often draws inspiration from the ocean and idyllic summer memories, as well as everyday objects and unexpected color combinations she encounters in daily life. Color is her primary source of inspiration—certain combinations evoke a deep sense of joy and well-being, which she strives to recreate in her paintings so others can experience it too.

She primarily works with acrylics, using a variety of tools—such as spatulas, brushes, scrapers, her hands, glass, and putty tools—to create unique textures and expressions. Her art is characterized by vibrant color palettes and distinct textures she has developed throughout the years, as her brand, Klaras kludd, has become an increasingly significant part of her life. Through her work, she hopes to bring joy to those who view it and help people infuse their homes with color and light, as she firmly believes we all need more color in our lives.
