About Heidi
Heidi Linsén (1976) is a textile artist from Helsinki, Finland, whose works combine softness with society's grievances. She is known for her realistic tufted depictions on chosen topic, whether it’s the specific issues homeless women face, the once again narrowing space of feminine expression and being or police violence against environmental demonstrators. Even though tufting is her go to technique, Heidi Linsén does also aquarelles and tapestries.
