One of my ambitions is to capture a feeling in my paintings—a feeling that cannot be described with words. It can be anything from the vivid colors of a sunset to music and thoughts.
My name is Emma, and I am a young emerging artist based in Skellefteå.
In my art, I don’t limit myself to one type of subject; I allow the paintings to portray whatever fascinates me and what I wish to share. Music is an important source of inspiration, along with everyday experiences, nature, and the changing seasons.
I often pause and marvel—it can be something as simple as the stark contrast between the dark, cold evening sky and the warm glow of streetlights. The world is beautiful.
It is these feelings and this beauty that I hope the viewer will experience and appreciate.
By recreating moments in colorful paintings, I hope to achieve that.
