Collection: Studio Fika

My works are mostly inspired by small moments of joy in everyday life. I love to capture these small joys, or 'het kleine geluk' as we say in Dutch, through digital illustrations as well as analogue photography. Sunshine, conversations with friends, flowers, coffee & sweets, a glass of wine, some good pasta, all of these beautiful things.

Being creative is what brings me happiness, and I always love trying new things. Recently I started crocheting and sewing my own clothes, and I would love to try making pottery as well. Being creative in any way, shape or form helps me to focus on the positive things in life.

I have chosen the name Studio Fika, not only because I also work as a Barista and love coffee and sweets, but also because I love that Fika makes sure we take a moment to stand still and enjoy the small moments in our day-to-day life and the people in them. My work forces me to do the same.
