Silja-Marie Kentsdottir is a painting Video creator based in Stockholm. She paints with soft acrylic colors on canvas and gouache on paper. Nature and mountains have always inspired her, as she spent her childhood in Ólafsfjörður, a small fishing village in northern Iceland.
"The mountains are free from complication and remind me of a simple life. I find that mountains have mostly been portrayed as dark, complex, and powerful, so I just wanted to create a simpler, softer, and more inviting vibe. I paint mountains with less macho”
