About Sara

Sara Landfors grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, with an art-interested father who made it his mission as a parent to provide art supplies for his child. It’s no surprise then that making art—drawing, painting and photography—has been her favorite form of creative expression as far as she can remember. She spent all of her teenage years drawing with pencil and painting with watercolor. During high school and university, Sara combined engineering studies with formal art classes. One of her most influential art teachers at Stanford University gave her a motto for creative expression that she now lives by: “You can’t create and analyze what you’re creating at the same time.”

Nowadays, abstract art in the form of acrylic on canvas is Sara’s favorite medium. Sara’s works are heavily influenced by her meditation practice, and often depict the human experience of reality. Making art is one of the purest forms of living in the present moment. Specifically, she uses painting and being creative as a way of effectively recharging from her work in the technology sector.
