Starting a jewelry brand was an idea that arose back in 2020 when Alma Lagerlöf and Samantha Andrews took a design course in high school, where they had the opportunity to create a collection of their own choice. They chose to make a ring collection that was to be the start of something bigger.

Design, fashion and trends are common interests and with the help of the conditions they received from their technical education, they saw an opportunity to create a brand in connection with their high school work, UF. It was very important for them to work with something they found fun and could be motivated by and therefore it was an obvious choice to focus on design and creation. It was then SALMA. was born.

After the success of the UF company, they decided to continue their journey with SALMA. after graduation and that's when they registered SALMA. as a company. Over time, the company has grown and developed and today Alma runs the company herself as Samantha has other dreams she has followed. Alma creates, designs and carefully selects what inspires her.
