Being creative has always attracted me, especially painting. As a child, I attended Waldorf-school where artistic expression was encouraged. This environment, along with my grandmother, who has created beautiful paintings as long as I can remember, has been a great source of motivation for me.

In recent years, I have lived with an all-consuming OCD. I am still fighting the battle against the thoughts, but when I pick up the paintbrush I can escape. Therefore, painting gives me more than just an opportunity to create. Each painting has become a way to surround myself with colors and freedom. That’s why I draw inspiration from what brings joy. It can be something completely ordinary, a place, an experience, or the people I love.
