My name is Matilda Lindgren and I started ILLBATTING Design in 2020. The word illbatting is an old Norrland expression for mischievous child. For me, this represents daring to go your own way and express your own style. Personally, I have always liked colorful clothes and garments that stand out. Therefore, it is precisely this and my great passion for creation and recycling that inspires me to hand decorate the garments.

During my years of work, I have carried out several collaborations with stylists, stores, artists and digital creators. I strongly believe that the customer's specific wishes should be taken into account and therefore I also offer specially designed garments to the customer.

All garments are decorated by hand by sewing or painting, which is why each garment is completely unique. In addition, I use as much second-hand material as possible, modern fashion can more than happily come to life through old fabrics!
