My name is Amanda Sörensen and I am a ceramist based in Stockholm.

I explored various media before finding my passion for clay as an art student in 2020. During the summer of 2023, I began an apprenticeship at Drejverkstaden in Stockholm.
And soon after started my company Glänta Ceramics.

Glänta comes from the Swedish word for "glade", a sunlit forest clearing that symbolizes warmth and spirituality.

I find my inspiration within the contrasts between the beautiful Swedish nature that I grew up with, and the powerful forests of the Amazon in my birth country Brasil .
