About Alice

I am a girl from Gothenburg who has been painting for as long as I can remember. My mother has always been a great role model for me in art as she is an artist herself. She is the one who has taught me that you should dare to invest in what makes you happy and to take place even if there are sometimes doubts as to whether you are skilled enough.

In my works, I use thin layers of watercolor paint on top of each other, which I often break up with more opaque and thicker layers of acrylic paint, which creates texture. By trying out new techniques and mediums, I want to create depth both artistically and emotionally.

For a long time I have had difficulty putting into words my style and what it conveys, but from my uncle I have been told a very fine idea of my art. "She gives a soul to what you didn't think had a soul". I now hope that more people will get to feel that exact feeling.
