Or are you looking for a gift to someone who loves houses?

This is a handbuilt ceramic house for a tealight in a mix of white and beige color tones. The style is minimalist yet rustic and with a country feel.

Here’s how the house is made:

I start by making templates in paper. Then the clay is kneaded thoroughly. I use a special kind of rolling pin to make slabs of clay, the technique is called slab-building. They need to dry slightly before I can cut, bend and join the pieces of clay. When the item is finished, I leave it to dry before it can be bisque fired, then glazed, and then high-fired. The whole process takes several weeks from start to finish.

Dimensions:

Width: 9 cm

Height with chimney: 12 cm

Depth: 6,5 cm

Product details:

This listing is for 1 ceramic tealight house

Clay: White stoneware

Color: Beige white

Glaze: Non-toxic

If you have any questions, please let me know

You ´re so welcome to follow my work from the studio @bolling.studio

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0697/6831/5146/files/productImages_2F58dLKb7UySaNBtH6E0aRIwDSGsf1_2FAOWu3Lynoz2waXPEg4is_2Fimage_5.jpg?v=1791730391
